With summer quickly approaching and nicer weather on the rise, so too are some amazing concerts. There are many that you need to keep an eye out for. Below are but a few concerts that you seriously do not want to miss!
U2 (May 2- June 29)
They spent last year revisiting The Joshua Tree, but this year, U2 plans on presenting something more eye-catching. With the drop of their latest album in December, Songs of Experience, they plan to kick off a tour in May following that success. Known for their insane stage set-up when on tour, consider yourself lucky if you can nab some tickets for these. From the 29,000-square-foot-stage known as the Spaceship they carted in 2009, to the trippy curtains they had on their 2015 stage, this concert is bound to impress and wow the audience just as much as their music.
Taylor Swift (May 8 – Oct 6)
Come May, this pop star will be heading back on tour at long last after her 2015 jaunt from the 1989 concert. What’s also important to note is that Swift has been working on adding additional shows so the lineup for her tour may be longer than what’s mentioned. As for what she’ll be performing, fans have been speculating whether we’ll see the “Old Taylor” or if there’ll be anything new to the table. Time will tell.
Pink (March 1-Sept. 8)
Even though this tour is partway through, there is still a lot to appreciate about Pink’s work. With her seventh studio album released, Beautiful Trauma, this tour (also called Beautiful Trauma) actually gives Pink an opportunity to experiment with some of her latest work. Regardless, you can always expect the same sort of vibe Pink concerts bring: Pop bangers, a lot of attitude, aerial stunts, and of course, emotional ballads.
Shania Twain (May 3 – Aug. 4)
It’s been only three years and Shania Twain has been making a lot of bold steps. From playing a song that ties in with Deadpool 2, Shania Twain is making another bold step and touring once again. Of course like most notable singers, she is revisiting some of her classic songs. That being said, she is planning to dip into her more recent work, sharing songs from her 2017 album Now, which EW gave a stellar review, she is bound to have a commanding stage across the US once more.
Harry Styles (March 11- July 14)
A former member of the boy band One Direction, the singer has been making his worldwide debut tour incredible. With the tour expanding so much, Harry Styles has certainly shown off his chords and good looks by playing at well over 80 concerts. The fact he has been going at this for this long on his first tour speaks volumes. You do not want to miss this show!
There are many amazing concerts that we simply can’t cover in this list! But from looking at the stellar talent that’s rolling out this summer, it’s sure to give you a taste of what else is cooking this summer!
